The Pediatricians Alliance of Ontario (PAO) is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the highest quality of health care delivery for children and youth in Ontario and beyond.
Pediatricians make up roughly 2000 of Ontario’s 24,000 physicians.
As a recognized pediatric authority, we advocate for improved health on behalf of Ontario’s children and youth. Our goals include promoting the education, leadership capacity, and well-being of Ontario pediatricians, as well as advancing awareness of their crucial role in the health and well-being of children, youth, and families. We also support the education and development of ancillary health care providers. As the Ontario Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, supported financially by the Pediatrics Section, OMA, we leverage resources from the AAP and other appropriate alliances to further our activities. If you are a member of the Pediatrics Section, OMA, you are also a member of the PAO. To become an AAP member, click here.
